Optima Hotels in Lviv Sheltered Residents Who Lost Their Homes After the Missile Strike

Following the russian missile strike on Lviv, 40 residents were left homeless. In the first days after the attack, hotels across the city joined the relief efforts and provided temporary accommodation to those affected.

Two hotels from our Optima Hotels & Resorts network — Optima Collection Medieval and Optima Dworzec — also responded promptly and provided free accommodation to people whose homes had been destroyed or damaged as a result of the russian attack.

It was important for us to provide those affected not only with comfortable accommodation but also with a safe and peaceful place where they could recover from what they had experienced. Our hotel teams took care of the residents and did everything possible to ensure that they felt supported and did not have to face this difficult time alone.

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi visited the residents temporarily staying at Optima Collection Medieval. He thanked the city’s hotels for responding promptly and helping those in need:

“This is a business that stood by people at the very moment when they needed it most.”

We thank the teams of Optima Collection Medieval and Optima Dworzec for their compassion, prompt response and care. We also thank the other hotels in Lviv that joined this important initiative.
